We stopped for a quick lunch and chose The Redwoods because of the positive reviews. It was empty of customers and atmosphere. The landlady was hospitable to start with but made it very clear that we needed to be out soon as “we close at 2”. As it was cold, we asked for an extra log on the dying fire but were told “no. I don’t want it burning this afternoon”. Food ok and lots of choice. Good pub grub.
